Philadelphia
Take the Schuylkill Expressway (76 West) to Route 202 South
(at King of Prussia). Follow to Route 30 West. Follow Route 30 West to the small town of
Gap. Just beyond the traffic light where Route 41 intersects with Route 30, make a right
hand turn onto Route 772. Follow several miles into the town of Intercourse. Turn left
onto Route 340. In the center of town The People's Place, The People's Place Gallery, and
the P. Buckley Moss Gallery are on the right (north side of Route 340) and The Old Country
Store, The People's Place Quilt Museum, Village Pottery, and Crafts of the World are on
the left (south side of Route 340). There is plenty of free parking behind each building.

Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to the Pennsylvania
Turnpike. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike west to Valley Forge. Exit at Valley Forge and
take Route 202 South at Turnpike exit. Follow to Route 30 West. Follow Route 30 West to

the Susquehanna River toward Lancaster. Stay on Route 30 East until the Route 340 Exit (on
the east side of Lancaster). Exit and turn right at the stop sign, going east on Route
340. Follow for about 7 miles into the town of Intercourse. In the center of town, The
People's Place, The People's Place Gallery, and the P. Buckley Moss Gallery are on the
left (north side of Route 340) and The Old Country Store, The People's Place Quilt Museum,
Village Pottery, and Crafts of the World are on the right (south side of Route 340). There
is plenty of free parking behind each building. (Approximately 2-2½ hours).
From Washington, D.C.
Take Route 95 to Route 695 Beltway (around Baltimore). Go
west on Route 695 and follow Beltway to Route 83 North exit. Follow Route 83 North toward
York. Take Route 83 North to Route 30 East. Follow 30 East across the Susquehanna River
toward Lancaster. Stay on Route 30 East until the Route 340 Exit (on the east side of
Lancaster). Exit and turn right at the stop sign, going east on Route 340. Follow for

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike east to Harrisburg.
Take the Harrisburg East exit. Take Route 283 east toward Lancaster immediately to the
right of the toll booth. Follow 283 toward Lancaster. On the north side of Lancaster, take
Route 30 East. Follow a mile or two to the Route 340 exit. Exit and turn right at the stop
sign, going east on Route 340. Follow for about 7 miles into the town of Intercourse. In
